In the beginning, the one and only God: the eternal YHVH created everything.
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." - Genesis 1:1
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." - John 1:3
God lovingly made us and blessed humanity with dominion over the Earth.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it [...]" - Genesis 1:27-28
God loves us dearly and desires that we would live forever with Him.
"Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." - Revelation 21:3
However, because YHVH is a loving God, He gave us the free will to choose whether we want to reside with Him or not.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." - Revelation 3:20
Through choices of our own, we have ruined our relationship with God.
We have sinned: which is to go against His will and desire for us, and to trespass against His divine laws.
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." - 1 John 3:4
"If ye love me, keep my commandments." - John 14:15
All of us have sinned. Having sinned, we are not perfect, we are not holy, and we are not good.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" - Romans 3:10
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
In contrast, YHVH is perfect. He is holy, good, and the source of all life.
We all fall short of God's standards, and because of that, we have condemned ourselves to an existence separated from Him.
"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." - John 3:19
The nature and result of our sin is death. Death is separation from God,
who is Life. The ultimate separation from God is eternal death- hell.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 6:23
"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." - Matthew 25:46
Condemning ourselves through sin means we must be sentenced to hell, because God's justice is, by His nature, perfect and absolute.
"But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things." - Romans 2:2
"[...] God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." - 1 John 1:5
God loves us so much, that He has offered to forgive us, wiping away our sins, so that He can save us from hell and we can live with Him forever as He had always intended.
"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." - Isaiah 43:25
"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." - Hebrews 8:12
To save us, God sent the Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was conceived and birthed by a virgin woman, Mary and through God Himself.
Jesus is fully human and fully God.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life for over thirty years on Earth.
Then, the people of Rome unjustly sentenced Him to be killed by crucifixion.
Being sinless, Jesus Christ gave His life on the cross as a perfect sacrifice to cleanse the world of our sins.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." - John 1:29
After He completed His sacrifice, Jesus Christ was dead for three days and three nights. He subsequently conquered and defeated death as He resurrected back to life. Being alive again, He spent forty days on Earth before ascending to heaven. Jesus Christ not only lives now, but He lives forever.
"Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him." - Romans 6:9
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" - John 11:25
Jesus Christ atoned for your sins and offers forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life to whoever believes in Him and accepts Him as Lord and Savior.
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." - Hebrews 9:28
Jesus Christ is God. He is one with the Father, YHVH, the Creator.
He is the only one who can forgive your sins.
He is the only one who can save you.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." - John 8:58
If you confess your sins, repent, and ask Jesus Christ to save you with a sincere heart, God is faithful to forgive your sins and save your soul.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
"[...] Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." - John 8-11
Jesus Christ wants to save you out of love, mercy, and grace.
Salvation is a gift from Him and cannot be earned or bought.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" - Ephesians 2:8
"[...] but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" - Titus 3:5
You can personally speak to God through prayer and ask Jesus Christ
to save you. If you want to know more about Jesus Christ,
the clearest way is through God's Word, the Holy Bible.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9
" Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3
